What is Lifespire?
Lifespire is the quintessential guide to planning your perfect wedding day. It has been designed as a practical resource and reference guide for anyone embarking on their incredible wedding planning journey. Lifespire comprises a collection of Elements which focus on various aspects of wedding planning.
Throughout the Elements we use the words “bride” and “groom” or male and female pronouns however, the guides can be used and applied by all couples regardless of their gender, race or sexuality.
Where did the name originate?
The word Lifespire is a combination of two words – life and inspire. Events are designed for celebrating special occasions and Lifespire provides the guidance and inspiration required to bring these events to life. It is a unique name for our products and services that focus on events.
What are the Elements?
The Lifespire Elements will provide you with a holistic view of your wedding planning journey. The Elements can be used as a source of inspiration, direction and motivation. They have been specifically designed to be interesting and fun to explore and apply, either on your own or with your fiancé, family or friends during the planning process.
There are three primary Elements – Planning, Creativity and People. Each primary Element is further divided into five Sub-elements. Each Sub-element is also accompanied by Element Support Documents. These documents are simple and comprehensive excel worksheets, detail forms, checklists, photography shot lists, packing lists and size guides. The supporting elements will also ensure you will not have to think about what to say or send to your bridal party, family, friends and other guests who may require your guidance.

Establishing a solid foundation, clear vision and realistic budget for your wedding is essential to ensure you can stay carefree and enjoy your special day. The Planning Element focuses on establishing a foundation for your wedding, creating a realistic budget and taking care of all the legal requirements and decisions that need to be made. Then it is time to find your perfect wedding venue, settle on accommodation close to your venue if required, and create your gift registry.
THE ELEMENTS FOR CREATIVITY
You may have been gathering ideas in a folder with cut-outs from magazines for years, or split your Pinterest profile into a hundred different boards for each aspect of your extravagant and lavish wedding day. Perhaps you have kept your ideas in a small diary or hidden them away in your mind and close to your heart for a simpler, more intimate celebration. For every bride, the creative aspects of planning their wedding can be the most fun and also the most challenging. It is about selecting and marrying up ideas to create the perfect combination on the day.
The Creativity Element provides practical guidelines to help you make the most important decisions about the supplier that will capture your special day, your stationery, décor and flowers, your wedding cake, if you choose to have one, and entertainment.

Your wedding day is the start of an incredible journey for you and your fiancé and should be one of the happiest days of your life. It is an opportunity to thank family and friends for being part of the magical experience and to celebrate with them. The Element called People explores every aspect of you and your groom’s personal needs, responsibilities, attire, and things to remember on the day. This Element also provides important guidelines and details for choosing your bridal party and officiant as well simplifying the process of creating your guest list.
